Excellent option for staying in peace and quiet at Tenerife, far from the large tourist-machines. Situated in the middle of a gated banana plantation, close to the sea, you can really relax and enjoy your stay. You will need a rental car to get around and the restaurant is so-so for dinner. Breakfast was very good, though. The employees were nice and service minded. The beds vere not very good- two single beds joined as a double- flimsy and hard. Modern shower/ bathroom and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. No fridge in the room- a big minus, but fridges available in shared spaces which worked ok. To those fearing insects, given that it is a banana plantation- don't. Bugs were not bothersome. There were some banana/fruit flies, but in general it was nothing to worry about.

Beautiful location but the old fence around the property makes it less amazing, and there was just 1 water bottle in the room, no real coffee maker (nespresso or so), no fruits or food or anything, and of course the Internet WIFI did not work. For the price of the place we'd expect a bit more.... otherwise, nice people and all ok

We loved our experience at El Patio. The staff were kind, welcoming, helpful and laid back. The grounds were beautiful, well kept, with lots of different spots to lounge around, with different views. We enjoyed playing tennis, going for dips in the pool and using the many different seating areas to rea dor have a picnic lunch.

Had the perfect stay here in November. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, booking taxis for us and giving us some great recommendations for the local area. The area is so peaceful, pool and tennis court are great. Excellent value and would definitely recommend!!

Quiet place in a banana plantation. The rooms are proper but simple. Breakfast is good with ample variety. The dinner wasn't worth the comparatively high prices. Staff was friendly.

Unique stay in a well-preserved old colonial plantation amongst impecably-maintained grounds. Fantastic service - very friendly, attentive and responsive to any issue we had. We stayed in the Balcon del Teide (private villa with pool) - very large gated property about 800 meters from main hotel down a paved then dirt road. Space is comfortable with nice view to ocean, though fence slightly interrupts view, but necessary as people occasionally walk by on unofficial trail. Bathroom well-appointed albeit slightly small, especially with 4 people. Well-stocked basic kitchen to prepare simple meals. Bedrooms very comfortable with view over banana plantation and sunset in the evening.
